hey, just joined.
I got my first set of jax about a week ago (blue vmax) and now I'm up to three sets. Got one more (yellow vmax) for the trick CD, and a pair of green stripe saturns.
I want a set of +'s bad, but I can't find any in my area.
I've got all the basic tricks down pretty well, (although I can't seem to keep a steady orbit for long...) and a few harder ones (supernova, cowboy, couple more).
I think my favorite trick is still the butterfly, though. I could sit there and do it for hours, oh wait, I have. Especially with the saturns.
One thing I can't seem to get down is the consecutive switch. (Probably because I can't keep my orbits regular) Any tips?
ok, thats all. Thanks

anyone got the supernova down? if so, i have a question or two for ya, let me know.

Yay, I got a couple AstroJax for Christmas. All I've been able to do so far are the Vert/Horiz Orbits, and a few things I've invented. I can't seem to get the other ones down yet...but I'm trying!

Hi, just saying hello. I just joined. I don't actually have an A-J yet, but I'm getting two for Christmas. They are on-sale at BJ's, 2 for $10.
My only question so far is Do they light up in different colours?
I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Nat, I'm from Australia and I love Astrojax. I own purple Saturn and I love the effect they have in the dark. I'm not really an instructions person so it took me a good solid ten minutes to work out out to light them up when I first got them several months ago.
I love walking around the house doing consecutive switches and breaking a few things along the way. My tiny dog also loves my astrojax, but only when I'm using them. One day I'm afraid she's going to get hit in the head my accident because she tries to attack them whilst I'm doing tricks and she'll suffer a concussion and fall to the ground. Which isn't far because, you know, she's small.
I'm good with more advanced tricks, but I still can't do simple ones like the butterfly. Weird.

Ahoy. Been using my blue v-maxes pretty much every day over the summer up till now. They're looking pretty battered, let me tell ya. The rope's broken at one end (just unplugged, fed rope back in, plugged it in again) and one ball's shattered at the two joints inside the ball (tenuously held together by plastic cement presently).
Time for a new set, maybe? :P
Anyhoo, I get funny looks all the time with these things. That's the big novelty for me.
I just bought my Saturn Astrojaxs (gotta have lights) today. I love them. I think I have the basic orbits down. Needs practice of course. Cool thing is I can walk through doors with them. I was bored at uni and was walking around and I did not have to stop what I was doing to go through the doorway. Not a big deal I know but I was impressed. Oh wow I have rambled on here. I best be running!

Hello, decided to join this community since astrojax are just about the best thing since pizza on a bagel! I've been frequenting the astrojax website for awhile now but never had a chance to go out and get some, finally today I got a set of yellow v-max jax and I've been having a blast all afternoon. So far I've mastered the vertical orbit, and almost mastered the horizontal orbit. Now I'm just looking for a good KB Toys so I can get some + ajax because these vmax are damn hard :x.

Got my first aj's a week ago tuesday after seeing someone playing with a set at a dumming circle. Mine are a red vmax, a blue vmax (for a friend), and a lavendar strip saturn. (vmax $6.99 at toys-r-us, saturn $9.99) After playing with them for a couple hours and reading through the web site, I chased down a pair of plus's at a small independent toy store, 1 orange, 1 blue, ($9.99).
10 days later, I'm up to about 12 tricks, mostly basic, the orange plus is my favorite for now. It bounces better than the vmax and doesn't hurt as much when it smacks your hand. :-O.
My trick cd arrived yesterday from ebay. It's ok, but not particularly impressive. Most of the same stuff is on the web site and it's hard to see the tricks on computer movies. I wish I could replay them in slo-mo.
